NEW DELHI, Feb. 9 (Xinhua) -- An Indian Air Force (IAF) officer was arrested on charges of leaking classified information, officials said Friday.
Captain Arun Marwaha is accused of providing information to intelligence agents from Pakistan, who chatted with him on social media pretending to be woman.
"The officer has been charged under the Official Secrets Act," a police official said. "He can face a jail term up to seven years if charges against him are proved right in the court."
Reports said the officer was befriended by people from intelligence agency of Pakistan using a profile of woman, a few months ago and from there they got in regular touch.
