BISHKEK, March 4 (Xinhua) -- Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev discussed the Middle East situation during telephone conversations with his Bahraini and Omani counterparts, respectively, according to the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan on Wednesday.
During the conversation between the foreign ministers of Kyrgyzstan and Bahrain, the ministers expressed hope for swift de-escalation of the situation, resumption of political and diplomatic dialogue, and adoption of concrete measures aimed at restoring peace and stability in the region.
In the conversation between the ministers of Kyrgyzstan and Oman, the two sides exchanged views on the pressing regional issues and their impact on stability and security in the region, emphasizing the importance of resolving all existing differences exclusively through diplomatic means, in order to achieve the earliest possible stabilization of the situation. ■
